Telehealth Informed Consent
Last updated: May 28, 2026
By using Norven Health to receive care, you provide informed consent to telehealth services as described below.
Nature of telehealth
Telehealth uses secure electronic communications (messaging, audio, video, store-and-forward) to deliver care without an in-person visit. A US-licensed clinician in your state will review your case.
Benefits and risks
- Convenient access to care without travel.
- Care may be limited compared to an in-person exam; some conditions cannot be diagnosed or treated remotely.
- Technical issues may interrupt your visit; your clinician will follow up by another channel.
- As with any medical service, treatment may not produce the expected results.
Your responsibilities
- Provide accurate, complete information about your health.
- Follow your clinician's instructions and report side effects promptly.
- Seek in-person or emergency care when appropriate. Call 911 in an emergency.
Alternatives
You may seek in-person care at any time. Choosing telehealth is voluntary and you may withdraw consent at any time without affecting future in-person care.
Privacy
Information shared during telehealth is protected under HIPAA and our Privacy Policy.
